Dutch Vodafone mobile unit has revealed plans to launch a new 3G femtocell to residential and business customers from September 3 to improve 3G coverage, reports Telecompaper. 'Add SignaalPlus & Play Branded, the new device will connect to the user fixed broadband network to support
capacity indoor, taking femtocell coverage of about 30m, Vodafone said. The femtocell is designed to work with a Vodafone htc hd SIM card and can support up to eight concurrent connections. SignaalPlus Plug & Play cost EUR85 (USD104.9) for residential users and EUR70 0.25 (excluding VAT) for businesses. htc hd
