I purchased this Lenovo laptop after a lot of thought and searching and I am happy with it. The Lenovo extras are excellent. Windows 7 is sooo much better than Vista. The screen's clarity and resolution are excellent. The build quality of the actual laptop is nice and light, but it does not feel as solid as a Macbook Pro. The speed of operations on this machine is very good with its 4 GB of RAM. And the speakers are excellent! This laptop is a great buy. I have had my Lenovo for about a month now. Before mytmobile purchasing this laptop, I did weeks of research of which computer

was right for me. First of all I wanted a smaller computer than my last (a 15.6 inch), because it got way too heavy to carry around campus. This 13 inch Lenovo is the perfect size (about 4.5 pounds). Nice and compact, but not too small. Another reason I got it was because it has the most recent generation of Intel processors. I did not want to buy a laptop that had an old processor – that seemed like a waste. Another huge reason I got this laptop is because Lenovos have very good ratings (second best after macs). Ideally I would have liked to have gotten a macbook pro, but it was out of my price range. This laptop is a very suitable alternative. My boyfriend has a macbook pro and this runs almost as well, and is even a little bit lighter in weight. As other reviewers mytmobile mentioned, it has a very good sound system. Also, the screen is good quality – very clear. Wish the keyboard were lit but for me at this point it is not a deal breaker. When I booting and shutting down the computer one does hear the fan but it is not annoyoingly loud to me and it quickly does die down. I did remove the McAfee mytmobile security mytmobile that came with it and installed Norton.The keys are easy breezy on the laptop…feels great to the touch and one is in control while typing the entire time.
